If you want delicious, homey, authentic Ecuadorian food, as if food is coming straight out of mommas kitchen, this is definitely worth a try! They don't actually have a parking lot but you do have free street parking. (No meters). Although the food is great, the reason why I give 4 stars is because they should fix up the place a bit and put some attention towards the bathroom, and especially the outside of it. If this place would get fixed up a bit, it would be a lot better. Also, some things I feel are over priced, for instance; the Encebollado. (Shown in picture). The place is fairly clean. Other than that, this is DEF worth a shot! Makes me feel like I'm back in the motherland my self eating this food.

The Dishes what I usually get is Encebollado and Ceviche with rice and I have to say they are very delicious. I've been eating at this establishment for years and I can be very picky with places like this but safe to say I recommend this place to anyone looking to eat some good encebollado! The service is friendly and some pretty good music too

Came in town and was looking thru Yelp for a good Ecuadorean restaurant and we found this one. Although it seems to be a shady area we went anyway. I have to say worth every penny. It's a cheap place that I would normally not go to but so glad I did. Great food and service was great. Very inexpensive for three of us and four meals because one had two different ones it came out to $38. Couldn't believe it. Would definitely come back.

Typical Ecuadorian cuisine! I have a few favorites that to my friendly gringo compadres may sound like strange eating customs, but that's the beauty of our diverse culinary appetites! Thank God for food! LOL! Ok, so this place....it is a locals place- meaning that unless you are a) Ecuadorian with a taste for home cooking b) live in the neighborhood c) are a foreigner that has lived/visited Ecuador d) call ahead for pick up -you're not likely to just stumble across their threshold! lol! I fall in category A & D:) Ok back to my favorites: Bandera of course! No true Ecuadorian can say they don't love this typical and traditional dish! I'll start off easy...yellow rice, ceviche (shrimp cured in lemon and onions with cilantro!); GUATITA which is the sponge like lining of the cow's stomach stewed in a peanut butter based sauce with potato and cilantro; and Seco de Chivo aka Goat stew!! This is all one dish and oh so heavenly! Arroz con camarones!....Unlike any other you've had! Forget the shrimp fried rice and take the trip! I love this dish rice and shrimp mixed dish! Guatita - which I explained above- my ALL time favorite Ecuadorian meal! While to some, the neighborhood may seem a bit urban ...umm hi there :) You're in Newark! lol! There is street parking and however notoriously rumored Newark is, you will be ok in this hood! lol! You will need cash -no cards accepted. Dang it, now I'm hungry!!! Enjoy!
